Adventures of a Misspent Youth

The only people who can’t accept others as they are, are the ones who can’t accept themselves.

We allow these outside voices to poison our minds and convince us that we’re not good enough. That maybe if our hair were longer, or our stomachs smaller, or our lips bigger, that maybe we’d be more desirable. We start to erase who we were and hide our souls with a mask that we feel is more acceptable to society.  What you don’t realize, is that this idea of ‘beauty’ is so unrealistic, you’ll spend your entire life trying to find it.
